I’m a freelance content creator and copywriter living in sunny, magical Orlando, Florida.
At my best, I’m a hard-working, independent, inspired woman who excels at communication and curating creative content for my amazing clients.
At my worst, I have to treat myself to an iced coffee to get in the zone, I may spend a little too much time scrolling TikTok (for research, of course) and my mind constantly has several tabs open trying to think up new ideas for my brand and the businesses I’m working with.
Overall, though, I’m a people person who loves working across a variety of industries to help businesses with their creative marketing efforts. I pride myself on being easy to work with, fun to collaborate with, and reliable on all fronts– thanks to my good friend, Asana.

A deeper look —
I quit my job in the middle of the pandemic because of burnout. It was not sparking joy and the work I was doing was not fulfilling. I decided, on a whim, to do what everyone told me not to do– and put my two weeks in without having anything lined up. Scary? Yes. Smart? No. The right decision? 10000%!
Since then, I have had no choice but to build a career that means something to me. I leveraged the skills I learned throughout my various agency experiences, emptied my savings, and began pitching myself to small businesses that needed help, but couldn’t afford it full-time.
Fast forward to present-day Samantha business-woman Slankard, I have created a roster of incredible clients who work in industries that align with my interests and passions. Now, I’m able to travel with my mom on her work trips, take my puppy Ozzie on mid-day walks to chase lizards, grab lunch with out-of-town friends and connect with truly amazing people from all over the world. The best part about my job is the flexibility to live the life I want and work with the clients that inspire me. I’m the luckiest!
